“The compelling thing about making art - or making anything, I suppose - is the moment when the vaporous, insubstantial idea becomes a solid there, a thing, a substance in a world of substances.”

Hi! I’m Leslie Typrin.

I am a vibrant force in the world of expressive art, a self-taught and multi-passionate intuitive mixed media artist. My creative journey is a delightful exploration of nature and whimsy: I thrive on creating imaginary worlds full of texture and meaning using the magic of collage and assemblage art.

My artistic passion extends beyond the canvas as I beautifully intertwine creativity with the transitions of midlife. With a keen focus on mental well-being and the growth of self-esteem, I embrace the power of creative practices and the joy of self-expression to navigate life's twists and turns.

Hi, I’m Minette!

I have always been a risk-taker, adventurer and curiosity seeker who was comfortable jumping feet first into new endeavors. My mantra is, “how hard can it be?”

The answer: way harder than I anticipated but also more fun, more challenging and more fulfilling than I knew was possible.

No version of reinvention has been more challenging than my journey to claiming “I am an artist.”

I am a seeker, deep thinker and rebel on an eternal quest to become the best version of myself. I am sure it will be harder than I thought. But I am up for the challenge.

I have been teaching, leading and facilitating groups for close to 3 decades. There's nothing that I love more than guiding you through a process of deep reflection that results in a gorgeous piece of art.

I am passionate about using expressive and narrative arts as powerful tools to help others find their passion and purpose in midlife and beyond.
