Artist of My Own Story is a 3-day expressive arts retreat for women in the second half of life who are ready to stop living from old scripts and begin creating from the truth, wisdom, power, and presence that already live within them.

Over three days, you’ll use collage, art journaling, writing, storytelling, symbols, archetype cards, bookmaking, timelines, pockets, maps, and intuitive mark-making to create a handmade mixed-media book that is deeply personal to you.

You do not need to be an artist.

You do not need to know how to draw.

You do not need to have your life figured out.

You only need curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen to what your own creative wisdom wants to show you.

I cannot recommend her retreats enough! Years ago, when I first saw a class from Minette, it was spirit animals and I could not attend. Fast forward to 2025, and she reinvented the spirit guides in a way that was purely magical. Known as the Sweetheart City, it’s home to hundreds of public sculptures, a vibrant downtown arts scene, and easy access to the wild beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s the kind of place where inspiration feels close at hand and meaningful conversations unfold naturally. I'm proud to call this city home.
